Why Horse Handling Science United?

Howdy! Horse Handling Science is a cultivation of mentors in my lifetime and my journey in filling in the holes left in my horsemanship.

My childhood horse had gotten colic, broken his leg thrashing about and left me heart broken when I had to make a fatal decision to put him at ease. That left me without a horse, and I am horse crazy!

For my next horse soulmate, I wanted to have a young horse and learn about how to "train" it. I could find no place that offered specifically "How to train a horse" lessons. I had to find a trainer who was willing to teach me.

My journey (won't bore you with the long details, you can read about that on my blog) lead me to my first mustang I named Juno. She was 11 months old when I got her and I was determined to learn everything to teach her to be my everything horse. If she was going to be my horse, she had to do it all. And we have!

I have always been someone who believed in doing this better and unlike anyone else. Well, I am finding out that what I learned can help so many. I wanted to create a legacy to leave behind, so that all the knowledge and wisdom are not lost.

Right now I am helping my mentor write her book as her legacy, she is the one that taught me about Horse Handling Science and gave me the missing pieces to fine tuning my craft that I have developed along the way.

I'm here to tell you it's not just about learning; it's a journey of transformation!
